Revelo does not publish an hourly rate card. It quotes an all-in annual or monthly price for each engineer, and that price covers salary, benefits, payroll, taxes, compliance and hardware. If you are a US founder or engineering manager pricing one to three Latin American hires, the useful question is what you pay each year and what happens if the engineer becomes a permanent member of your team. Our Revelo alternative page covers the hire-directly route in full.
TL;DR Revelo's own pricing page puts a senior full-stack engineer with six or more years of experience at about $111,000 to $128,000 a year all-in, or roughly $9,250 to $10,700 a month. Its calculator shows $134,000 for its top tier. Third-party reviews report about $50 to $70 an hour and a $500 fee to start a search. Conversion terms are not public.
How much does Revelo cost?
Revelo costs about $111,000 to $128,000 a year for a senior full-stack engineer, according to its pricing page, and $134,000 for the top tier in its calculator. Billing is one monthly invoice, month to month, with a two week trial. The rate is all-in, so you do not pay a separate salary to the developer.
| Source | Figure | Per month | Per hour at 2,080 hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revelo pricing page, low end | $111,000 a year | $9,250 | about $53 |
| Revelo pricing page, high end | $128,000 a year | about $10,670 | about $62 |
| Revelo calculator, top tier | $134,000 a year | about $11,170 | about $64 |
| Third-party reviews | $50 to $70 an hour | about $8,700 to $12,100 | $50 to $70 |
The hourly column is our arithmetic, not a Revelo rate. It shows that the annual numbers and the third-party hourly reports agree, which is a useful sanity check when a sales call produces a different number.

What does the Revelo rate include?
The Revelo rate includes the developer's pay, benefits, local payroll, taxes, compliance and hardware, bundled into one invoice. That is the real product: you do not need a legal entity in Brazil, Argentina or Mexico, and you do not manage local employment law. You pay a margin for that convenience, and you do not see how it splits between salary and Revelo's share.
Is there a Revelo fee to start a search?
Third-party reviews report a $500 fee to start a search. Revelo's pricing page, as we read it, shows no such line, so treat it as something to confirm in writing. It is small next to the annual rate, but it matters if you run several searches and none end in a match.

You can ask, but Revelo does not publish its conversion terms. Reviews describe fees or prepaid service months when a client moves a developer onto its own payroll. Read the conversion clause in your agreement before you sign, because this is where an all-in rate stops being flexible. Moving a developer onto your payroll can also require a local employer of record if you have no entity in that country.
Revelo versus a direct hire, worked example
For one senior engineer over two years, an assumed $120,000 a year on Revelo costs $240,000. A direct hire through an employer of record costs the salary plus a fixed monthly fee. The salary and employer of record figures below are assumptions for illustration, so replace them with your own quotes.
| Route | Assumption | Two year cost |
|---|---|---|
| Revelo all-in rate | $120,000 a year, middle of its published range | $240,000 |
| Direct hire through an employer of record | $70,000 salary plus about $12,000 a year employer of record fee | $164,000 |
| Plus DeveloperHiring Startup | $1,188 a year for sourcing, 40 coding tests and 15 AI interviews a month | $166,376 |
The gap is the margin you pay for convenience. For a short project that gap is cheap insurance. For an engineer who is still on your team in month fourteen, it is the largest line in your hiring budget.
Is Revelo cheaper than hiring in the US?
Usually yes. Revelo's calculator compares a $134,000 senior engineer with about $328,000 for a fully loaded US hire. If you are setting the US figure yourself, use a salary benchmark for the US pay band you would otherwise offer, so the comparison is against your real alternative and not a round number.
When Revelo is the right buy
Revelo fits a team that needs someone fast and has no way to pay people in Latin America. Engineers are already vetted, you get a trial, and one invoice replaces a legal entity, payroll provider and benefits plan. If the project is under a year, or you are testing whether a LatAm engineer works for your team, the margin is easy to justify.
What are the alternatives to Revelo pricing?
The alternatives fall into three groups. Talent networks such as CloudDevs and BairesDev supply nearshore engineers billed monthly or hourly. Recruiting agencies charge a share of first-year salary. Technical hiring platforms such as DeveloperHiring source and test candidates for your role and let you hire them onto your own payroll. See the CloudDevs alternative and BairesDev alternative pages for the other nearshore vendors, and the DeveloperHiring pricing page for plan limits.
Which Revelo price should you plan for?
Plan on about $120,000 a year for one senior engineer, then ask for the conversion terms in writing before you commit. If the engineer will be permanent, compare that number against a direct hire through an employer of record, and ask whether your next two or three hires change the answer. Choose Revelo when speed and compliance are worth the margin. Choose a direct hire when the seat is long term.
